It would look like I've given up, but I still think this is an idea that could work, I just haven't figured out what it needs. I need to both find the right users who can bring and share content as well as a more user friendly interface to allow these people to upload and share content (images). I haven't done the best job spreading the word, only a weak facebook group attempt without any real heart. Once the site is a bit more polished I'll try again, hopefully this time connecting with the right crowd.

I envision students being the main users of the site since they are idealistic and in the need of design challenges for both class projects and portfolios. They also tend to be good intentioned, which is the point of this site...

Museum's could also be a good connection, especially the Cooper-Hewitt with it's current "Why Design Now" exhibit. So that's a possible avenue to pursue.
